Depressing Teacher...

First of let me just say, if you are a teacher and you have seen me look happy in your lesson then you are in luck its not you.. it's one of you colleagues. 

I used to look forward to this teachers lesson because she has a weird sense of humour and always makes everyone laugh, however I now look forward to the end of this teachers lesson because she is no longer funny, no longer a kind teacher she is just a nightmare. I'm not going to name any names. She also bad the self esteem, since she doesn't really make me feel happy about myself. I feel dumb in lesson because of the way she teaches. 

Teachers or anyone looking into going into teaching, firstly leave your personal life at home. Students may sit down and listen to your personal life but most of them don't even care. They are just doing it to skip lesson time. Make your classes somewhat fun, I don't mean group activities because you may not have noticed but not all students have friends in the classes, or may even have social issues. Just a video or something interactive so they leave that lesson thinking 'that was a fun lesson' and when asked about carbon recycling they remember it from that. 

Homework, it has even been proven that homework doesn't even help to the contribution of remembering what happened in the lesson. Some parents/parent/guardian really don't care about homework, it's more that they end up doing it when they are young.

DON'T LET THE POWER GET TO YOUR HEAD, if you know that you are they type of person that knows that power shoots to your head and you like to control people. Don't even bother going into teaching, it won't make students happy. You may get a box of chocolates at Christmas but doesn't mean the child likes you it's the parent. 

My Mum has always reminded me about this and that is that paedophiles will most likely go work in a school, if you ever get any suspicions even if it's your best friend best be safe than sorry.
