Tests- WHY?

Revision

Ok let me start of by saying don't do what I do, it's not good. I've just had my year 10 mock exams. Which if you don't know what they are its the pre-test thing that happens before all major tests. Im currently in the second to last year in my school.

Ok what I do is... not revise. I hope I  will be able to self motivate myself to be able revise when it comes to it. However I don't believe in revision, why revise when you will forget all the stuff you learnt what help will that be in the future "oh I got 10 A* at  GCSE"
"So you know everything about distillation of crude oil?"
"wait... siri whats distillation?"

A Different Type Of Test

Ok in my mind there should be a general test, that combines every topic in the school with the basic knowledge on life skills stuff like common sense questions like

'A car can fit 5 people and can hold a total mass of 4 tonnes, if Tommy takes his 4 friends weighing each 1 tonne can he still bring a suitcase'

Questions like that don't have to make that much sense but it will give information that cars can only hold a certain amount but also using basic maths. Other questions could be 'write out a email complaining about faulty taps to your landlord'

These are the things that matter not needing to know chemistry when you already know what you want to be or you just know that you're not interested in that.

To please universities you should have to take both tests but they should be made easier rather than stressing out the student and them showing there best ability in a test when they are better at practical work.

The new test should be called 'Mark-out of life'

Now here's a kitten... Enjoy!!!
